I fell in love with graphic design while studying Fine Art at CalArts (2011–2012). I transferred and graduated from Chapman University in 2015 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Mathematics — that left-brain/right-brain mix still shows up in everything I make!

While at Chapman University, I spent a summer in London as a Design Intern at Burro Happold, where I designed an exhibition featuring the architecture firm’s sustainable construction ideas and future “Living City” technologies. Before graduating college, I joined Element Skateboards & Apparel as an in-house Graphic Designer, creating catalogs, apparel graphics, POP displays, and more for their international lines. I spent my days working closely with skateboarders, artists, photographers, designing work that sold in stores like Zumiez and Pac Sun.

As a contract designer, I’ve created custom apparel graphics and Disney-branded illustrations that were later sold in Disney Parks and used in Disney Nature campaigns. I also spent time as Lead Designer & Brand Manager at a digital marketing agency, managing a team and delivering full brand suites, websites, and campaigns.

After my first child was born I started Star Castle Studio full-time in 2018. Since then I’ve continued creating beautiful, custom brands and websites for independent creators and businesses, while also taking on select contract work (including seasonal campaigns for Boston Proper).

My experience has taught me how to make things that look beautiful and actually work in the real world. Now I bring that same care and speed to soulpreneurs and makers who want brands that feel as special as their dreams.
